MAKE, 2018 AIGA Design Educators Conference

Animation, Print, Experience Design

Case Study

As part of my junior year of VCD studies at Herron (spring 2018), four fellow classmates (Kaylee Green, Caila Lutz, Haley Francis-Halstead, and Heston Godby) and I were tasked to develop a visual system for the 2018 AIGA Design Educators Conference, a three day conference held from June 7th–9th 2018 at Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, IN for design educators from across the country. Along with the visual system, with much credit to Kaylee Green, other tasks were to develop a fluent wayfinding system as well as all of the printed and digital deliverables for the event.

Audience

Design educators from across the country and other attendees of the conference.

Project role

As a member of this group, I helped early on with exploring and developing different possible directions for the visual system. Although my concepts weren’t selected, working within the chosen visual system (credit Kaylee Green), I was tasked to develop the wayfinding and signage for the event. As well as this, I assisted Kaylee Green in producing the animated bumpers and sequences for the conference.
