Be Present, Not Perfect

As part of my junior year of VCD studies (spring 2018), the opportunity presented itself (as part of a silkscreen printing course) for a fellow classmate (Jess West) and I to do a mural in one of the stairways at Herron School of Art and Design. As students ourselves of the VCD department of the school, we are reminded time and time again by our instructors to "be present, not perfect." So by using this quote for the mural, it would not only send a positive message, but also it would also pay homage to our VCD department and instructors.
