Branding, UX/UI

Case Study

As part of my senior year of VCD studies at Herron (fall 2018), three fellow classmates (Wendi Butler, Alex Brown, and Wyatt Schutte) and I we were tasked to create and design a platform for freelance workers and their clients, where they can communicate with each other, share files, create and pay invoices, manage finances, as well as keeping organized through calendar functionality. Partnered with students from the Computer Science program, they acted as front and back-end developers in putting together the desktop interface of this platform. Through steady communications with these developers, we made sure that they were on task, that functionality was attainable, and that they had all the necessary design specs and files that they needed. As well as this, we were each tasked to design this platform for a different device, with myself being tasked with the desktop interface for Converge.

Audience

Freelancer workers and their clients.

Project Role

As a member of this group, I was tasked to assist in the development of the logo and branding of converge. As well, I was tasked to design the desktop interface of Converge. Since this was also the interface being put together by the developers, I had to be sure that they had all of the necessary design specs and files needed to be successful.
